Is Article commenting and blog commenting is useful for increase site PR ?

Hi Everyone,
I want to know that is blog and article commenting is effective for increase site PR or not and I also want to know that it can be useful for increase site serp's or not ?

Both tasks can help effectively in increasing site PR and keyword rankings, provided that they are approved and they are NOT nofollow. Most of blogging platforms gives nofollow links in comments as default, but it would be lucky for you if you find some blogs that gives dofollow links. Just take note that you have to comment as a human being who wants to relate to the articles and blog posts.

Basically, if you are doing it the right way, you could get link juices from it for your site that would help increase your site's PR and eventually your SERP ranking. Most of the things to note regarding these activities were already mentioned by doomcashdown. Additionally, it would be better to give comments to blogs under different sets of IP.

it is still useful but be sure you have read the article so you can comment relatively that it won't be concidered spam by admins.

I believe that is useful if you leave links to your web site. You also can have much more links from one comment when your comment will appear in the latest comments

Yeah.. Blog commenting is still effective especially when it is do-follow.. One of my post get ranked and got PR 3 when I only do blog commenting...

Article commenting and blog commenting is just waste of time because not event a single blog owner will allow to put a link in his blog its only few blogs which does not have any rank will allow but again they take time to approve the comment .

Generally speaking, any decent backlinks would help in increasing your SERP if you use your targeted keywords correctly. If they are also dofollowed, they would benefit your PR, also.
