What should I do to increase my site back links in google ?

Hi Everyone,
I am doing work for an website from 3 months which move PR 0 to PR 2 in last google PR update at 3rd April and It's also generate good traffic but It's have only 3 back links in google so now I want to increase my site back links in google. Please suggest me some good sites where I can get back links for my site which can be count as a back links in google.

Google only lists a very limited amount of backlinks when you are checking your backlinks manually. In my opinion, they only lists those links that are of high quality (in Google's point of view). So my only suggestion is to gather as much quality backlinks as you can. And by the way, when I say "quality", it means that the web pages that links to you may either have a good PR or is indexed by Google regularly, like forums and so. Blog commenting can also give you quality backlinks.

Google will show only quality back links. Have you tried it in yahoo site explorer. Do find your back links in yahoo site exloprer.
