I want to know that which tactics are getting more traffic for your website. My site getting most of traffic from these tactics :

1. social networking sites
2. social bookmarking
3. micro blogging
4. Article writing
5. forum posting

Please share your tactics which being more effective to increase your site traffic.

article posting works best. i was doubtful about this when i was just starting because i was thinking 'why should i post my article somewhere instead to my blog'? but when you actually try it in ezine and post you link in the source section of the article, it will actually provide you traffic, even in hubpages and bukisa.

I get about 80% of my traffic from Google and Google News.
The other from referrals like Social Bookmarking sites(reddit and Digg)

Sometimes my article will get a better SERP through Ezine than my own site, but the article still points to my site.

nice. I've tried it too in ezine and they didn't rejected it. but bukisa did reject it as they treat the article as duplicate. maybe it was then indexed after an hour so bukisa rejected it. but i was successful in goarticles, hubpages and free-press-release.com

Yes Ezine will accept them as long as they're not posted all over the internet. I also use Articlebase.com and as you mentioned Goarticles too.
