Thread: Getting a little for the article itself....

Default Getting a little for the article itself....

I haven't used most of the free article submission sites because I want to maximize cash flow. The time I use writing the article is just as important as the information in it and the sales interest I hope to generate in my website.

    I used Associated Content.

They offered a small payment when the article was accepted, they paid traffic bonuses, and my websites could be listed as resources for the information in the article.

Why submit for free when you can also make a little cash for the article?

You make a good point. I don't write my own articles. I hire writers to do that. So I don't have hundred's of articles to submit. My goal is just to gain links and some traffic. I guess if I was good at writing it would make more sense for me to do this. Ideally I would like to submit 10 articles a week.

How much do they pay per article on average? Is it a few cents each?

I'm interested in this subject beacuse it's not the first time I've heard of AC. Is the pay worth it? How are they makin money from my articles? Through selling the advertising space? I get hundreds of views from free articles and think I would rather lose pay by not getting paid for submitting and gain pay by my full rights and all credit to myself, if that makes sense!?

Yes, I agree with you. There are also another system. Instead of getting paid for your submitted articles, you can display your Adsense ads on the your article's page. You usually get 50% chance, along with the website owner's Adsense Ads.

I try writing 2-3 articles a day, along with hiring writers to create my articles. I think this is a good balance because I get variety in the writing of my articles. I think I am a half-decent writer, so it makes sense for me to write my own.

I don't write either. I hire writers to do that too. So I don't have lots of articles to submit.

Associated Content is best site for selling articles, they buy almost any-type of articles. For USA citizens they pay Upfront payment as well as performance payment.

I agree with getting paid upfront and to date I use 4 different article directories to do this with AC and Helium being at the top.

Unless you are writing in a well searched subject or have a lot of articles the pay is rather small, however it all adds up.

For me, as a writer first, this is ideal because I get paid on the front end and the back end.

These sites also tend to rank high, in some searches I have seen AC's articles outrank Ezine, and there is far less spam.
