Be a PromoJunkie Moderator!

We have our eyes peeled for PromoJunkie Moderators. It'll be an honor indeed to attain this title. Being given the title means you are recognized by the PromoJunkie staff as a superb member of our community by both the way you interact with others and your willingness to share your expertise.

What do we look for in a Moderator, I hear you ask? First and foremost, quality not quantity. While it would be great to have a Moderator that contributes in both ways to PromoJunkie, we'd much rather have a selection of well thought out original quality posts/threads than hundreds of inferior ones. Quality is number one on our criteria list.

We would like our Moderators to have been active members here for at least 3 months. This is a guideline for staff as opposed to a hard and fast rule. Sometimes we see members that contribute excellent posts from day one. These members have become a huge asset to PromoJunkie in a very short space of time or have that potential.

On the other hand, there are members that still don't add much value to the community by day one hundred. For this reason, we won't be setting a time limit nor post count requirement on this. As being a PromoJunkie Moderator will be by invitation only, we reserve the right to make that offer at any point or not as the case may be.

Let me say that again. Being a PromoJunkie Moderator will be by invitation only. Do not solicit reasons on why you haven't been asked or push yourself onto the staff as a possible candidate. Nothing will put us off you faster than if you harass the staff over it. Trust me, tormenting us about being a Moderator will not endear you to us. Neither will querying the whole process. It's pretty simple. Be a valuable member of the community, share what you know and we'll probably consider you.

So what can you do to increase your chances of being selected for this honor? As we say in the writing world: show, don't tell. Give us plenty of reasons to invite you to be a PromoJunkie Moderator! Make high quality informative posts, share your expertise, be civil and generally demonstrate why you deserve this title by participating well and often within the community.

At PromoJunkie we believe in giving credit where credit's due. The thanks button is one way to do it and this is another. We'll be giving this title only to those we feel truly deserve it. But if you don't share what you know, the PromoJunkie staff can't tell how great you are! Remember: show, don't tell.
