Google analytics helps us by providing the details about the visitors coming to our site like how many visitors, from where these visitors came, what are the pages they viewed, how much time each visitor spent in visiting our site etc...

Statcounter is good, but Analytics is better in my opinion. It has other results that are more comprehensive, and free to install in a site too.

using Google Analytics you can analysis your website in depth like how many visitors are coming, what are page views, which keyword is performing and which keyword is not performing, what is bounce rate, which page have more exit rate etc.
