Talking Should we hide our affiliate links?

Some people believes that affiliate links have to be visible, to be honest that this link is actually makes some financial income to site owner.

Others are sure that showing affiliate links equal to loosing money because lots of people do not want to join under you.

    So what do you think?

Oh bad practice. If you get caught using this you run the risk of being banned from the SEs that find the cloaking, and probably the affilliate program too.

If your referring to to affiliate link masking you can find a tool for it here, as for actual cloaking software there is search engine cloaker however using a software like this comes with great risks.

    Thanks!

Cloaking is not allowed by google. If you mean masking then you can try tinyurl or other similar masking services by searching on google.

No, not always needed to be hidden...
if you can provide good strategy to earn from some affiliate program, you can write :

"If you think my post is usefull, then please join under my reff link"

I think the best way to go around this is to promote affiliate programs that really work. This way people will not mind joining under your name.

Give honest reviews, explain why joining is such a good idea in the first place (but in your own words...).
