    Many said it already but cloaking / hiding is a bad practice ... no no no you will just get banned when found.

    All outgoing links should probably run through a forwarding system on your site, I honestly believe the only thing that's bad about affiliate links is the way the search engines look at them.

    I believe you should always be honest about these things. Offer people a good reason to join under you and then it's upto them to join or not. No use playing hide and seek. Some people actually appreciate the honesty if you try not to hide affiliate links.

    I appreciate the idea. No need to hide affiliate link. Let the one who signs up know the sponsor and other details.
