I believe that first you should figure out the product you want to represent. Only then you can start comparing affiliate programs.

I mean, there are so many - all kind of different fields: gambling, gaming, health, babies, beauty, forex, jewerly...etc. Tones of options!

They're right. You better determine first as to what particular product you are willing to promote and the type of affiliate marketing you wish to engage yourself with. There are lots of MLM affiliate marketing companies out there.

mlm is difficult in many cases because people focus on "getting more people" as opposed to commissions on product sales. its usually easier to sell product than to "get people in" a downline

I think one of the big reasons to choose MLM over affiliate marketing is that in many cases you are selling the MLM company and the products that they represent are just part of your sales pitch. Although I know some people that have been involved with Amway for years that get some really nice checks every month from product sales the majority of people I know that actually make an income from MLM companies are from signing people up.

I think that if you are going to compare affiliate marketing to MLM you should decide if you want to sell a company to people or promote a product to people.

Just my opinion please don't base your life choices off of anything I say!

I personally prefer affiliate programs over MLM because with affiliate programs, your effort and success of getting your products out to the public are what you will be focusing on primarily. With MLM's you constantly need to be increasing your team and downline. MLM's are for some people, but not for me.
