Can I have both adsense and Adwords? I have an adsense account want to know should I signup for adwords or not?

you can have both accounts, if you just want to drive traffic to your site, but yes as Quality Clicks told you that if you use adwords for clicks on your adsense ads, then this is not allowed.

yes excactly you can have both. the different is just a matter of intention. if you wanna be advertiser and promot your own or other products, you can join adword but if you jut wanna place the ads to others it would be good to have adsense
