Great tips, here is my best tip: Experiment! Different things work for different sites, I've been tracking results with different ad units and colours and as a result my CTR increased a lot by finding the perfect layout.

yeah , for everything site there is not the same circumstances , So experiment with many ads format and ad placement will give us the idea on how can we optimize our ads to earn more.

Find a good high search volume keyword.. and build a blog for it.. create good and informative content and optimize your site for the keywords.

I have saw someone use cpa networks to do high price adsense
He get traffic but publisher can never get money from him ,for he just popup his adsense page and no action

These are good tips for the Webmasters just starting out. For the more experienced it's a given that you need a quality site,updated content,good ad placement and traffic.
I also use a less known about technique to increase my earnings. Again it goes back to the more experienced as noobs have tried this and got banned.
